The 60-Second Structural Scan

Available now Free

Four questions that surface the structural reality of a system before analysis begins. Purpose → Primitive → Rules → Failure. The entry point into the diagnostic method. Answer all four honestly and you will know whether the failure is structural, and where to look first. Difficulty answering any of the four questions is itself a diagnostic signal.

Run it before sending the Five-Line Brief. Run it before commissioning a Diagnostic Artifact. Run it whenever a system is producing recurring failure and the cause is unclear.

Diagnostic Reference PDFs

In development

Structured PDF references for practitioners applying the Diagnostic Taxonomy and the 60-Second Scan to real systems. Each is a governed reference document, not a workbook — designed to be used alongside a diagnostic engagement, not instead of one.

60-Second Scan — Reference PDF

The four-question scan in a portable, printable format with guidance notes for each question and connection to the Five-Line Brief.

Diagnostic Taxonomy — Reference PDF

All nine failure classes and 54 sub-types with inclusion, exclusion, and refusal criteria. A compact version of the full taxonomy page for offline use.

Proof Standard — Reference PDF

The five conditions a diagnostic claim must satisfy and the five things that are not sufficient. For practitioners who need to evaluate diagnostic quality.

Structural Failure Recognition Decks

In development

Physical card decks for teams working through structural diagnosis. Each card presents one failure class or sub-type: definition, inclusion criteria, canonical example, and corrective direction. Designed for facilitated sessions, not self-study.

Diagnostic Taxonomy Deck

Nine class cards and 54 sub-type cards. Use to classify a recurring failure before beginning a full diagnostic engagement.

Seeing Systems Deck

Cards for developing structural perception: how to identify primitives, trace failure paths, and locate burden carriers in a real system.

Professional Field Kit

Planned

A complete practitioner reference set combining the printed taxonomy, the Seeing Systems deck, the Proof Standard card, and the 60-Second Scan in a single boxed package. Designed for practitioners who apply the method to real systems regularly.

Digital bundle

All reference PDFs and digital card decks in a single download. Planned future professional product.

Printed boxed set

Physical printed version of the complete field kit. Not yet in production.

Corporate licence

Team licence for organisations applying the taxonomy and method at scale. Terms and pricing not yet set.
